ChargePoint app for android And iOS offers access to over 160,000 charging points operated by ChargePoint itself, as well as stations from all other major networks. You can even have the app ping you when a particular charging point becomes available. At this point, most electric vehicles (and many gasoline-powered vehicles) come with proprietary apps from the manufacturer. The app’s toolbar often has tools that will direct you to compatible charging points when you need them, and you’ll get regular updates on how much battery you have left and how far that can take you. You might find that you can totally rely on this app alone to get you where you’re going and not run out of energy, and if so, that’s great!

For example, in the case of Ford electric vehicles, you can use the FordPass app to android or iOS: Just select View chargers on the main screen, and then select the appropriate filters. You can launch a similar search through your car’s dashboard by going to the navigation screen, then tapping on Where? and collection Charging device of the options that appear on the display.
