Adrienne So: Because, by God, I will not stand in line for terrible coffee for 20 minutes when I need to get to a press conference. I’m just going to cook this in my room while I get ready, get dressed in the morning. And I’m ready to face crowds of people as soon as I step out of my tower. This completely changes the rules of the game. It was the first year that I thought, “Oh, I’m a pro at this. I’m completely drunk coffee and ready to go.”
Michael Kalor: Is this a folding teapot?
Adrienne So: Yes. This is one of those foldable silicone teapots.
Michael Kalor: Beautiful.
Adrienne So: Yeah, so I didn’t even have to, I didn’t check anything. I bought it on Amazon for about $30.
Michael Kalor: Never heard of it.
Adrienne So: I know. It is about an inch thick when fully compressed and is large enough to make one cup of coffee with the AeroPress.
Julian Chokkattu: And you, I believe, brought your ground beans?
Adrienne So: I brought filters, I brought beans. I really felt really bad about it actually. I felt like I should tell all of you guys that I have coffee in my room. But then it was like, “But then they would be here, waking me up.”

Adrienne So: I know.
Michael Kalore: My AeroPress Go has been to three CES shows.
Adrienne So: Mike, is your power move my power move?
Michael CaloreA: Well, I mean, I passed it on, I subconsciously passed it on.
Adrienne So: Not. No, it wasn’t subconscious. I think I saw your… Have you ever brought a teapot with a Comrade?
Michael Kalore: No, it was my Bonavita swan neck.
Adrienne So: Oh my God. Absolutely different.

Michael Kalore: My swan-neck teapot with adjustable temperature.
Julian Chokkattu: Wow.
Michael CaloreA: Yes, I had to carry the recording equipment so we could record the podcast. Now I have new recording equipment, which is much smaller. So I did not need a second suitcase, so the kettle had to be removed. I just drank like… I drank plebeian coffee from the coffee shop downstairs. Not a good bougie coffee Adrienne.
Adrienne So: I know. So, okay, my real trick is that I didn’t bring the swan neck. Hack is a foldable travel kettle that can be carried in hand luggage.
Julian Chokkattu: I feel like kettles should just be in every hotel room, right?
Michael Calore: They should be.
Julian Chokkattu: They should be.
Adrienne So: Yeah. But people just do terrible things to them or to them. That’s why they don’t exist? Let’s not speculate. I dont know. They would wash clothes in them. I dont know. That’s how you can tell that I didn’t drink coffee. I’m sorry.
