The Dell XPS 15 is a great laptop for those who want to do a little bit of everything. Gaming is probably not your priority if you’re buying this machine, but you still want it to be functional – and it is. True, able to do Everybody comes at a high price, so you will pay more for the XPS 15.

This professional looking device can hit 30fps on its UHD display at low settings for more aesthetically pleasing games like Borderlands 3 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. To make the most of this 60Hz panel, you’ll have to drop the resolution down to QHD. For HR-hungry players, Apex Legends will reach 60 frames per second on very high graphics settings. All this thanks to the configuration of our test model with Core i7-12700H, RTX 3050Ti and 16 GB of RAM.

There’s also a great keyboard—lots of movement and a nice click—and a big trackpad. The large 16:10 aspect ratio, 3.5K OLED display is amazing, with deep blacks and vibrant colors. Port selection isn’t too bad – with 3 Thunderbolt 4 ports, a headphone jack, and an SD card reader. The speakers are an interesting proposition with incredible detail even at high volumes and a wide soundstage. That said, bass is good, but not as loud or impressive as rival MacBook Pro units.
