In 2017 Hulu made television history by becoming the first streaming network to win an Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series, thanks to a phenomenon that The Handmaid’s Tale. While this morbidly prophetic adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s 1985 dystopian novel remains one of the best TV shows to watch on Hulu, it also set the bar for quality entertainment that the network continues to meet and sometimes surpass original series like Bear, GreatAnd Only murders in the building.
While Netflix has pretty much taken over the streaming market with original films and even managed to convince stars like Guillermo del Toro to Alfonso Cuaron, and Martin Scorsese will come to them, Hulu is also starting to find its footing in features. But screenwriter and director Max Barbakov went further and did it anyway with palm springsand the audience is grateful to him for that. Based on the rules originally set in groundhog day, palm springs offers its own unique twist of history. Instead of one person (Phil Conners from Billy Murray) slowly approaching the brink of insanity because he is the only one who seems to be experiencing this phenomenon, palm springs sees three wedding guests – Niles (Andy Samberg), Sarah (Christine Milioti) and Roy (J.K. Simmons) – living the same day over and over again and working together to find a way out of it.

As they prepare to graduate from high school and go their separate ways to college, best friends Seth (Jonah Hill) and Evan (Michael Cera) have a one night stand to have fun with their classmates and have no regrets.
